This is an exciting opportunity to join Lloyd’s Register’s Maritime Technical Advisory group on our journey to be the industry’s trusted advisor that improves the performance and sustainability of our customer’s business. A key part of the group is our ship performance team which provides advisory services to support client challenges associated with decarbonisation, energy efficiency technologies, efficient and sustainable ship operations, independent assurance and verification of performance and design. • Integrate multidisciplinary methodologies and data structures to exploit and share to the fullest a combination of databases, analytical and first-principle models, and codes
  • Carry out fieldwork that will include installation of instrumentation, setting up data acquisitions systems, and acquiring data either in situ or remotely
  • Contributing to discussions on use cases for new technologies, and ways to improve our services and engineering practices
  • Support all the marine advisory teams and LR’s Decarbonisation Hub on an as-required basis, as defined by MPS management
  • Pro-actively share knowledge with the team and the company at large for technical and promotional purposes
  • Build a network of internal and external contacts to gain knowledge and promote business
  • Achieve targets for chargeable time in specialist areas, in line with team management expectations
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards
  • Pursue Continuing Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness
