Senior Port Crane Inspector

Position Type: 18 months Contract only, 6 days week

Responsibilities:

• Assign & coordinate tasks allocation for field inspectors
• Focal points for client & crane makers  
• Check crane overall condition after shipment unloading at port
• Assess reinstatement works, punch list carries out by crane makers & report progress
• Inspect and witness crane’s functional, endurance and commissioning test  
• Review commissioning and testing reports
• Consolidate site inspection and test reports
• Prepare and issue weekly report

Job Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent from a tertiary education in engineering (E.g. Electrical, mechanical, structural, welding, automation, etc) or hold relevant professional trade certificates.
• Minimum 10 working experience, with at least 5 years in fabrication, QA/QC, inspection, testing and commissioning of port cranes (E.g. Quay Crane, Rail Mounted Gantry Crane, Rubber Tired Gantry Crane)
• Familiar with FEM 1.001, AWS, IEC, AGMA & other codes and standards
• Capability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, Inspection test plan, procedures.  
• A team player, safety minded, motivated & client focused  
• PC literate good command in MS office
